Product Description

Working Principle of Evaporative Air Coolers

Water Storage and Circulation 
The cooler is equipped with an internal water tank. A built-in water pump draws water from the tank and delivers it to the water distributor at the top of the unit. The water is then evenly sprinkled onto the evaporative cooling pad—usually a honeycomb-structured pad that maximizes the contact area between water and air, keeping the pad fully saturated.
Heat Absorption via Evaporation 
When the fan is turned on, it draws hot ambient air into the cooler. As the hot air passes through the wet cooling pad, the water on the pad's surface evaporates rapidly. According to physical laws, the evaporation process requires a large amount of heat, which is extracted directly from the passing air, thus lowering the air temperature.
Cold Air Delivery 
The cooled air is then pushed out into the room by the fan's air supply system, reducing the temperature of the local environment.
Humidification Function 
Since water evaporation produces water vapor, evaporative air coolers also add moisture to the air while cooling. This is the opposite of the dehumidification function of air conditioners, making evaporative coolers more suitable for use in dry areas.
